People are our strength

The people we research come in all shapes and sizes. Their beliefs, opinions and knowledge range from the esoteric to the odd. Our team aims to reflect this diversity although we steer clear of the ‘odd’ where possible.

We come from all kinds of backgrounds: science, the humanities, the arts, psychology, business and research; all bringing different skills and perspectives. So our ideas stay fresh and our output is relevant.

Insight employees are a mix of old heads and youthful exuberance. Our project teams bring a balance of new ideas, fresh thinking, energy and experience to each brief we get.

Nigel Griffiths PhD

Director

Having started out in academic lifesciences many years ago, Nigel has seen his life gradually slide from the quantitative and tangible through to the pursuit of the qualitative and less tangible. Nigel relishes the diversity of challenges and briefs which come through our door but particularly enjoys evaluating Doctor-Patient-Payor interactions, Motivational Drivers and Branding & Communications. In recent years he has presented papers at EphMRA and BHBIA on Insight Mining in complex regulated environments, Using Eye-Tracking in Concept Evaluation and the Value of Social Media in achieving Customer Closeness in healthcare. Nigel is also Insight's 'Qual Guru' and can be seen stroking his metaphorical beard on Insight's steering group for qualitative standards and development. In his leisure time, Nigel is a gentleman sportsman and musician. He is an FA qualified football coach and retired folk artist.
